Concertmaster, Symphony Coach

 

Sue On, B.A. music business and music education with a concentration in classical performance, is a graduate of William Paterson University where she served as orchestra concertmaster under the direction of Sandra Dackow. Additionally, she studied violin with the late Cynthia Prentice, Claudia Tondi, Franco Gennarelli, and Grammy nominated jazz violinist Scott Tixier. She has also studied conducting at the New York Grand Opera alongside the founder, and esteemed Juilliard professor, Vincent La Selva. Ms. On is also a section violinist with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra which tours from Key West to Fort Lauderdale during the winter months.  When Ms. On is not  on tour performing you can find her conducting a youth orchestra or  teaching at her home studio in New Jersey. Sue is passionately devoted to sharing her love of music with students of all ages. During the summer, she travels across the nation to various Suzuki Institutes, where she teaches violin, piano, and music history.
